I started these daffodils last year and re-discovered them just a few weeks ago. They were a project set by our Art teacher, Liam Thompson.

Purple and yellow are complimentary colours which is one reason why this painting works. Painting daffodils is not easy and I am pleased with how well they have turned out. Look at how the stems refract in the water.
